PEMBROKE TOWNSHIP, IL – A pedestrian went to the hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle struck him along a busy roadway in Pembroke Township early last month, reports the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. on Friday, January 6th in the area of 2700 South 13000 East Road, which is between Sneed Court and East 3000 South Road.
The investigation indicates that a southbound vehicle hit a vehicle in the roadway before fleeing the scene.
Medics transported the pedestrian to the hospital in critical condition.
