A Lockport nurse on her way to work at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn was killed when her car was hit by a speeding driver on Sunday morning.

Heidi Roseen, of Lockport, was driving her Ford Explorer east on 95th Street as she was heading to work. Roseen entered the intersection of LaGrange Road and 95th Street on a green light when her vehicle was t-boned by a Ford F-120 pick-up truck driven by 25-year-old Orland Park man.

Roseen, 51,  was taken to Palos Community Hospital and declared dead at 6:15 a.m. The other driver was taken to Palos as well for minor bruises and a cut on one hand. He stated he had been drinking since the night before and was taken to the sheriff’s lockup in Maywood.
