One Person Injured after Car Crashing Into Apple Store

Last Updated: 15 January, 2013

Sunday evening saw a car crashing into a Apple Store on North Avenue, landing near a display of headphones.

Around 6:30 p.m., a Lincoln Town Car drove through the glass walls of the store located at 801 W. North Avenue on Sunday, January 13th. The dark-colored sedan drove several feet in to the store before turning and resting near display cases. Police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.

Paramedics were called to the scene in which the store was strewn with shards of glass. Initially treatment was refused by those involved in the accident. However, paramedics were called back to take one person with minor injuries to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital.

When shopping, it is never expected that a car will roll though glass windows and come close to employees and patrons. If you or a loved one know someone who has been injured in an accident, call Spiros Law, P.C. at (815) 929-9292 for a legal consultation.
