CHAMPAIGN, IL – No injuries have been reported so far in a crash involving one vehicle that happened Saturday night in west Champaign, reports The News-Gazette.
The incident happened around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Mattis Avenue and Stonegate Drive, which is just west of the Champaign Country Club.
It’s still unclear how the crash occurred, but police say a vehicle collided with a fire hydrant and a light pole. The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene. Authorities say the incident also involved a shooting.
