Three injured after two cars collided

Two cars collided in Jackson Township and caused three people to be hospitalized.

According to officials, the car accident occurred at Roswell Avenue and Breen Avenue at 10:06 a.m. The investigation so far has shown that one car did not follow a yield sign and entered the intersection.

She then collided with an eastbound vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was transported via helicopter to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated. His 14-year-old daughter was transported to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The driver of the first vehicle suffered a concussion in the crash.
